Ye olde photographic clues to deduce
In this Holmes era mystery series, readers review a comic-strip style arrangement of photographs to deduce puzzle solutions. Each photograph has people in period costumes, much like a 'Clue' aesthetic, acting out the mystery, with clues hidden in the pictures and text. The photos are quite dated - like a simple Murdery Mystery party kind of feel - but the mysteries are interesting and it spawned 3 editions over several years.
From the files of Scotland Yard come 20 cases of extortion, theft, and murder most foul!
You, as Inspector, are invited to test your powers of detection by: following the picture sequences, examining the photo clues and evidence, interrogating suspects, and naming the culprits of these fell and bloody deeds.
These cases have been photographed step-by-step with great wit and style in authentic British locations. They range from quite simple to exceptionally difficult. Your fullest attention will be required to interpret the evidence and unravel the clues and the motive for the crime.
Photographs and drawings offer clues to twenty fictitious crimes, with points awarded for deducing the correct solution.
