Following Marvin Miller’s main puzzle series - You be the Jury, You be the Detective and Scene of the Crime - ‘The Mad Scientists Secret’, a one off book, took a slightly different approach with a narrative spanning the entire book, rather than individual chapters for each puzzle.

Story

The book follows… ‘you’, who has “been chosen as the special agent to carry out a life-threatening secret mission: Find the Mad Scientist Dr XXX - and stop him from carrying out his terrifying plan”. Each chapter still ends with a visual puzzle, to progress through the adventure, though puzzles this time are usually less ‘evidence’ based and more classic visual/logic puzzles.
